After my venture into sock making last year I really felt like I'd made significant progress with knitting and I fully intended to make more pairs to keep up my confidence. So far this year I haven't started a single sock but I have at least picked up some left over yarn and had a go at something for fingers rather than toes.
I found the pattern, Stripy Fingerless Gloves, in a book called Knitting for Beginners, Learn to Knit with 20 Hot Projects, by Sasha Kagan. Quite obviously I didn't bother with the stripes this time.
I made the cuffs and extremely fiddly, little fingers with Knit Picks Stroll Tonal in Blue Violet and I used Stylecraft Senses Lace in Crocus for the rest of the gloves
Now that we're in to the month of October I suspect that I'll probably be wearing these toasty gloves quite often, especially with my Butterfly Stitch Prayer Shawl which is a perfect match.
